We are excited to announce that THREE Project Creosote Grants for Artists, Collectives and High School Seniors are now LIVE!

Project Creosote is funded by City of Tucson and Pima County.

Project Creosote: stART to Heal

  • Application Deadline: April 4, 2022 (11:59 PM, Arizona Time)
  • Grant Size: $500 – $2,500
  • Eligible Expenses: Project related expenses including supplies, Artist Fees, honorarium, and contractors.

The Arts Foundation for Tucson and Southern Arizona’s stART to Heal Grant for Creatives provides individuals, collectives, and co-ops awards funds through two alternate tracks of support: • The Community Impact track provides financial support to individuals and groups for projects that will positively impact a community through an artistic endeavor. • The Artist Development track provides financial support to creatives for whom a specific, practice-related capital resource or professional development experience will make an impact on their artistic practice. Implicit in Arts Foundation’s vision is a desire for diverse artists and arts organizations within the region to be able to engage in their craft without having to struggle economically.

Project Creosote: New Works

  • Application Deadline: April 4, 2022 (11:59 PM, Arizona Time)
  • Grant Size: $5,000
  • Eligible Expenses: Project related expenses including supplies, Artist Fees, honorarium, and contractors.

The New Works Artist Project Grant seeks to support the depth and breadth of innovative new artwork created and produced in the City of Tucson and Pima County. The grant program supports individual artist projects that meet the highest standards of excellence across a diverse spectrum of artistic disciplines and cultural expressions. Proposed projects must include the production of new artwork, an original and imaginative approach to content and form, and a public presentation of the work (virtual or in-person premieres are acceptable).

Project Creosote: Pima County Youth Arts Scholarship

  • Application Deadline: April 4, 2022 (11:59 PM, Arizona Time)
  • Grant Size: $1,000
  • Eligible Expenses: Tuition

The Pima County Youth Arts Scholarship is an opportunity to earn up to $1,000 scholarship toward enrollment at Pima Community College or Tohono O’odham Community College. The Youth Arts Scholarship is designed to identify and reward high school seniors within Pima County who demonstrate excellence in dance, music, theater, visual arts, media arts, literary arts, poetry, spoken word, craft, or art related to cultural preservation.

Grant Coaching: Request Review of your draft applications (Great if you have attending a group coaching call or have rought draft of your application complete) 

AVAILABLE Until Thursday, March 31, 2022

 Call in applications- You do not have access to computer technology or need support articulating and transcribing your idea.
