About the Artist
Irene Klar has been painting professionally since 1977! She has had solo exhibitions numerous times at Joan Cawley Gallery (Scottsdale and Santa Fe), West End Gallery (Edmonton and Victoria, BC), Jackalope Gallery (Port Adelaide, Australia), Gallery Mihalis (Montreal), Inukshuk Gallery (Vancouver), Gallery Indigena :(Stratford and Toronto, ON). Klar's work was represented by Adagio Galleries in Palm Springs for over 30 years. Irene Klar's original printwork has been in juried shows in Slovenia & Spain as well as Connecticutt,, University of Northern Georgia Print Biennale, Coconino Center for the Arts (Flagstaff), University of Wyoming, Five Point Gallery, Connecticut; Lincoln Center, Fort Collins, CO, Tubac Center for the Arts, AZ. People can peruse the cramped work environment where my paintings and etchings begin. They can see the various stages of original etchings, silkscreens and linoleum blocks. Various paintings, both acrylic and watercolor, prints and reproductions will be on view and available for purchase. Irene Klar Studio also has a number of smaller gift items – embroidered cushion covers, posters, notecards, magnets and journals.
