About the Art

About the Process

My garden art is primarily done using slabs and hand-building techniques. I enjoy the challenge of creating animals and bringing their spirts to life. My functional works are formed by throwing on the wheel and using slabs. I have created dinnerware for 45 years. The form and style continue to evolve, and my glaze selections are inspired by the Sonoran desert. My work is show and sold at Tohono Chul in Tucson, Esteban's in Sedona, Raku Gallery in Jerome, D'vine Gourmet in Chandler, as well as Tucson Museum of art and Old Town Artisan's
