Pima County Health Department and the Arts Foundation published a journal article detailing SaludArte’s 2021–2023 impact: using 1% pandemic relief funds to support social art in five hard-hit communities, the program showed high participant satisfaction, improved confidence in healthcare access, and strengthened social cohesion—highlighting percent-for-social-art as an emerging public health best practice.
