Business Manager – Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures

The Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with annual revenues greater than $950,000 and is located at 4455 E. Camp Lowell Drive, Tucson, AZ, 85712. We are looking for a Business Manager. The person selected will have responsibility for all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, audit and budget preparation, human resources, financial data capture and analysis, and payroll. This is a single-person Department with no employee directly reporting to this position. Salary – $45,000 – $60,000, depending on qualifications.

Dance Company Director – Arts for All, Inc.

Dance Company director will be responsible for the recruitment of, training, and rehearsal of the Arts for All Dance Company, a mixed ability dance company. Dance Company Director must encourage creativity and self-expression among dancers and maintain an orderly studio. Must have 1 year experience teaching dance and 1 year experience directing a dance company.

Information Technology/Audio Visual Specialist – Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum

Responsible for 10-12 VMs on Windows Server platform servers and 140 workstations (including Windows and Mac). Provides technical support to Museum personnel for hardware, software, network and related equipment issues. Directs the recovery of files in case of media failure. Ensures operational documentation and inventories are kept current. Designs training courses to initiate new personnel on standardized software packages (e-mail, etc.). Identifies trends in equipment errors. Participates in equipment and software moves and installations. Performs each function with integrity, adhering to current applicable rules, regulations, departmental and organizational policies and procedures. Responsible for daily operations of all computer-related functions of the Museum. Maintains cyber security measures, training and mitigation.

Composition Instructor – Tucson Symphony Orchestra

This part-time position instructs one class within the Tucson Symphony Orchestra’s Young Composers Project, teaching composition using Zoom, Google Classroom, and some in-person distanced workshops. Two positions available: Introductory class (elementary students) and Advanced class (high school). Instructors will hold a degree in Music, Composition, or Education, with demonstrated composition and theory experience. Instructors will coordinate with TSO musicians, guest artists, and visiting composers, and lead students in creation of their final compositions, to be performed and recorded by TSO during Young Composers Festival in May.

Consultant (Request for Proposals) – Grantmakers in the Arts

Grantmakers in the Arts (GIA) seeks a consulting partner. This consultant would inform GIA’s helping our nation’s arts grantmaking community to increasingly become investors in culture, broadening the ways we can support culture as well as who receives support. The consultant would help GIA identify ways to support our members’ embrace of alternative funding models and new economic models. GIA will engage a consultant who will conduct research to advise GIA how to program content related to alternative funding models and new economies, and how they could serve as tools for our members to support culture and artists in a manner that is racially equitable.
