Forming new Artist Collective Gallery – Warehouse Arts Management Organization (WAMO)

WAMO is organizing a new 10 to 12 artist run Collective 1400 SF Gallery in the former Conrad Wilde Gallery space in the Steinfeld Warehouse. 7th Annual Plein Air Painting Competition – The City of Casa Grande’s Arts & Humanities Commission
Deadline: February 23, 2019
The City of Casa Grande’s Arts & Humanities Commission will be hosting the 7th Annual Plein Air Painting Competition. Plein Air Painting is a painting technique that uses oil, watercolor, acrylic, or pastel paint to execute real life paintings of outdoors, as opposed to photographs in a studio. 2019 National Prize Show – Cambridge Art Association

Art Display – LGBTQ Issues

Funders for LGBTQ Issues seek Tucson artists interested in displaying their work at an annual gathering on March 19-21, 2019. Deadline: May 12, 2019 is seeking submissions of 23,000 handmade black, white, and gray baby booties to draw attention to the problem of infant mortality in the U.S. To be included in the first exhibition of the Project in Tucson, submit your work by April 1. For more information, click here.
