On Screen/In Person Program – Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation

Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation’s On Screen/In Person program is designed to bring independent film and communities together by match-making American filmmakers with presenters from across the mid-Atlantic region. They connect filmmakers with presenters who will screen their work. Selected filmmakers receive touring funds for travel, a $400 stipend for each engagement, and countless opportunities to connect with new audiences. For more information and to apply, click here.
Arizona Aqueous XXXII – Tubac Center of the Arts

A national juried exhibition, Arizona Aqueous XXXIII features water based pigments on paper which must constitute the major portion of the work. Entries composed of paper constructions, paper sculpture, paper collage, cut paper, mobiles or two or three dimensional wall pieces, and installations are eligible. Artists are urged to enter work which is innovative in concept and approach, whether representational or abstract. This exhibition is juried by artist Svitlana Malyukova. Kino South Sports Complex Installation

The Arts Foundation for Tucson and Southern Arizona in collaboration with the Pima County Stadium District are seeking an artist or artist team to create/design/fabricate/install art work that encompasses multi-sport themed elements into art work at the future Kino South Sports Complex. It is preferred for the design to provide shade for users of the facility in some fashion without impeding the functionality. Budget reflects design, fabrication and installation. 38th Annual Governor’s Arts Awards Program

Looking for a work of art, created in the last two years, to showcase on the cover of the 38th annual Governor’s Arts Awards program and formal invitations that will act as the official image of the 2019 Governor’s Arts Awards. The work should celebrate artistry, culture and unique characteristics of Arizona as the artist sees them. While there are no size or medium restrictions, submissions must be fit for digital reproduction. Keep in mind that the reproduction will be used on a number of materials and must accommodate text (similar to a magazine cover). Only Arizona college students are eligible to apply. Seeking Art – Local Language
Local Language, an art, design & consulting studio in Oakland, CA is looking for ceramic and fiber artists from Arizona for original works to be placed in a public area project. Artwork should express the authentic character and vibrant nature of Arizona. Your work will be placed in an iconic hotel property in Tempe. Sculptural works (both small and large), fine art prints, drawings, paintings are being accepted. Pollen Path – Tohono Chul Park

Pollen Path will follow the many directions pollen flows through the air – on the wind and on the bodies of pollinators in the accidental acts of self-pollination and cross pollination. The flowering plants of the Sonoran Desert are filled with myriad colors, shapes, textures, and lines; fertile territory for any artist. Artists are asked to contribute works of art that focus on the desert’s pollen producers and transporters – in isolation or in concert – in microcosm or macrocosm. Artists from the region are invited to submit 2-dimensional or 3-dimensional works in any media for consideration in this curated exhibition. For more information, click here.
