We are seeking interns for the following positions:
1. Arts Management & Operations Intern
This role is ideal for students seeking hands-on experience in the business of art. Interns will be mentored by our Gallery Owner (Mariana de la Vega) and General Manager and will be responsible for:
Gallery Operations: Learning the day-to-day operations of a professional gallery, including opening/closing procedures, managing art inventory, and processing sales.
Event Production: Assisting in the logistical production of all gallery events, including opening receptions, artist markets, and workshops.
Curatorial Support: Assisting with exhibition installation, artist communication, and handling artwork.
Volunteer Coordination: Helping the General Manager coordinate and manage the gallery’s volunteer team.
2. Marketing & Communications Intern
This role is for students passionate about brand storytelling and digital media. Interns will work under the creative direction of our General Manager to:
Content Creation: Design posters, social media graphics, and email newsletters based on the gallery’s official brand guide.
Social Media Management: Execute the gallery’s content calendar across platforms (Instagram, Facebook).
Public Relations: Assist in drafting press releases and reaching out to local media for event promotion.
Community Outreach: Engage with the digital and local community to promote gallery events and membership.
