Art State Arizona is seeking writers for Arizona’s Everyday Heroes, a new children’s book and gallery exhibition created in partnership with the Flinn Foundation to celebrate civic leadership across Arizona.
This project will bring the stories of 15 remarkable Flinn-Brown Fellows to life for young readers ages 7 to 11, helping the next generation understand that leadership can begin with a simple act of service, courage, collaboration, or care for one’s community.
We’re looking for writers who can transform real stories of impact into engaging, accessible narratives that inspire children to see themselves as future changemakers. Compensation is $250 per completed story, with opportunities for multiple assignments based on project needs.
