In 2026, as the United States celebrates its Semiquincentennial, Arizona will also reflect on its evolving identity through the Arizona America250 initiative. Art State Arizona, in partnership with the Flinn Foundation and Arizona America250, invites artists to participate in this open-call exhibition to creatively explore Arizona’s iconic Five C’s—Copper, Cattle, Cotton, Citrus, and Climate—and how these elements continue to influence our past, present, and future. We also invite you to look ahead and inspire us with your interpretations of five new Cs: Civics, Creativity, Community, Cultural Diversity, and Conservation.
All mediums welcome, and selected artists will be awarded $100 per artwork juried for inclusion.
