Introducing our Color Palette of the Month artist, Diána Moeller!
Meet our February Color Palette Artist, Diána Moeller, a Hungarian tattoo artist and painter based in Tucson, AZ.
Since 2010, Diána has been honing her craft, bringing bold, self-taught artistry to both tattooing and painting. Her inspiration comes from vintage illustrations, flora and fauna, dark fairytales, folklore, architecture and fashion.

Dia’s artwork is designed with an organic flow to compliment the body, with the intention to accentuate its natural beauty.
Outside of being a full time artist, Dia is the owner of La Querida Studio and Gallery, a new concept art space in the heart of downtown Tucson.

For my tattoo work, I select the color palette based on the reference images (mostly photos of plant life and other subjects), and my client’s preference, but keeping my focus on balance, mood, and harmony, ensuring that the colors work well together while reflecting the aesthetic we want to achieve.
In color tattoo work there is also the additional element of considering the client’s skin tone and making sure to pick colors that compliment it. In both my tattoo and fine art practice I prefer muted, natural colors and generally avoid primary tones.
