DataArts How-to (GOS Grant Resource)

Jun 21, 2019 | Resources

The General Operating Support (GOS) Grant is opening soon and provides unrestricted awards to non-profit arts and culture organizations located in Pima County. GOS applicants are asked to provide their SMU DataArts Funder Report as a portion of their application. DataArts, which recently merged with the National Center for Arts Research at SMU, offers a richly detailed portrait of the finances and activities of applicants, all in one standardized, consolidated platform. DataArts, formerly the Cultural Data Project, was founded to bring the language and leverage of data to the business of culture. The Cultural Data Profile (CDP) is DataArts’ flagship service, which thousands of cultural nonprofits use annually to report their financial and programmatic information. DataArts seeks to be a catalyst for data-informed decision-making.
