Children’s Museum Tucson

The mission of Children’s Museum Tucson (CMT) is to provide fun, play-based, interactive, hands-on learning experiences for children and their families.
About Children’s Museum Tucson

CMT offers interactive exhibits, educational programming, and community engagement in an inclusive environment.

In 1991, CMT moved into the historic Carnegie Library building in downtown Tucson. In 2015, the Museum opened a satellite location in Oro Valley, and in the fall of 2022, this location expanded in partnership with Tohono Chul Botanical Gardens. The new Children’s Museum Oro Valley at Tohono Chul Park was launched in January 2023. CMT|OV now serves over 200,000 children and families each year.

CMT’s programs and activities are a vital part of childhood for Tucson’s families, and we strive to ensure the Museum remains accessible and financially affordable to all children in our community.
