Growing up in Tucson, Wednesday developed an early interest in art, influenced by shows such as monster high, Ruby Gloom, as well as a manga called Bungo Stray Dogs. Wednesday's work is characterized by dark lines, dark concepts, and little color. They draw inspiration from American cartoons, comics, and videogames. They are also heavily inspired by her vivid dreams, and follow themes of blood, blue, and detectives. Wednesday believes that art is a way to express oneself, make a statement, and connect people of different backgrounds. She finds power in art and strength in creation. They intend to express their and others’ thoughts, feelings, and experiences through art and especially comics. Through a constant use of diversity throughout her stories, she believes differences can be normalized and accepted. Wednesday is dedicated to writing and illustrating stories, some for a younger audience and others for an older audience.
The art piece at Wagging Tails Dog Park is her first official piece of art, and notably, she was hired by the city to, with a team of other youth artists, design and create public art for the median near the dog park.
