The œplanter part of the sculpture and the font that was created for it were inspired by the neighborhoods historical connection with the railroad. Since many of the residents worked for the railroad, it played a major role in the development of the neighborhood. The cacti elements were inspired by our desert environment.

La escultura actúa como jardinera con tres elementos que representan cactus. El diseño de la jardinera se deriva de la guardia de ganado en los antiguos trenes de vapor, conectando la escultura con la historia del vecindario que está ligado al ferrocarril cuando llegó a Tucson.
