I became a photographer because I could not draw or paint the details that grab my eye. In addition to being a creative photographer for years, I have worked in Publishing, Advertising. My images tend to use strong composition, textures and a limited color palette. Currently work with a team of creative people at The Design People, Tucson, AZ. We produce books, logos, websites, and business marketing tools, it addition to copywriting and brand identification.

The combination of the colors and the rusted tank caught my eye. I am drawn to textures and shapes. Southern Arizona has the greatest clouds as well.

Saddle detail. I saw this at a round-up west of Tucson. There were at least thirty photographers capturing calf roping, branding and castration. I concentrated on getting images without all the cameras in the background.
