About the Artist

Ariel Lee Fan is a painter, sculptor and designer based in Tucson, Arizona. Her work is an observation of differing communication styles often through the lens of cultural identities.

As a self-taught oil painter and a university taught Industrial Designer, she combines figurative organic shapes with hard illustrative strokes, grappling between the acute and obtuse characteristics of living beings. She received a BA in Industrial Design and a BS in Sustainability from Arizona State University in 2015.
