About the Artist
As an artist and a person, I am fascinated by the beauty and complexity of the human form. Even the smallest detail can transform an expression and shift how we see a person. In my paintings I strive to capture that nuance, telling a story of mood, time and place, revealing emotions and providing subtle clues to their surroundings. Fashion can also play a role in this dialogue, becoming another layer of individuality and self-expression. Recently, I relocated to Tucson and am newly exploring the dialogue between people and the desert landscape, continuing that interplay between people and place. I'm inspired by the vast openness of the land and the sky, the organic textures, and the beautiful, yet sometimes wild and harsh environment. Some of my paintings explore the world of figures and landscape merging, contrasting and highlighting one another, sometimes in a serendipitous way. Through this balance of human form, style and environment, my work aims to reveal the beauty of individuality and highlight the profound relationship between people and the places they inhabit.Phone:
