Day 1: Elizabeth Criger
Elizabeth Criger
Creative Medium: Mixed Media 2D & 3D, Painting
About the Artist
Elizabeth Criger, a mixed media artist and occasional writer based in Arizona, has been cultivating her artistic talents since her childhood. As a self-taught creator, she has devoted herself to refining her skills and exploring her creative practice. Her work reflects a deep passion for the intersections of art, science, and perception, delving into themes such as the evolution of self, the nature of experience, and the complexities of human emotions. Utilizing a variety of materials—including pastel, watercolor, acrylic, oil paint, graphite, and charcoal—she creates on paper, wood, and canvas, and also experiments with encaustic techniques that blend melted wax with oil paint. While the finished pieces hold significance for her, it is the process of creation that truly captivates her, as she finds meaning and insight in the act of making art.Phone:

Notes about content: I’m not sure how to answer this. There are a few paintings with nude bodies, however, none are sexual in the sense of sexual content (sex acts or anything of that nature), or violence.
