About the Artist

Born into a nomadic childhood, I moved every three years, my mother's love for fresh floor plans and color schemes shaping our homes. Over time, I embraced each move as a chance to reinvent life through a new space and palette. My memories remain color-coded by house, a vivid mosaic that informs my creative vision.
Drawn to art early, I studied at Parsons School of Design and the Art Students League in New York City. My work is grounded in curiosity about transformation—how space, color, and form can reshape experience. While my professional life initially took me into other arenas, art remained my constant.

In 2005, I co-founded the Harlem Open Artist Studio Tour, a two-day event showcasing nearly 100 artists, drawing over 2,000 visitors, and connecting creative communities from 110th Street to Washington Heights.

A serendipitous visit to Tucson in 2010 sparked an instant connection with the Sonoran Desert. Within weeks, my husband and I relocated from New York. Today, I work full-time as an artist, weaving together the influences of my journey—nomadic roots, design training, community building—into works that explore transformation, discovery, and the enduring pull of creative authenticity.
