About the Artist

I have been creating for over 65 years - since the days I used to draw and color in school notebooks and on found scraps. Art has always been part of how I see the world, and it has been shaped not by formal training, but by lived experience. My heritage has Polish roots. The symbols used in embroidery and tatting were passed down to my mother. Today, my work draws from those early impressions - blending the symmetry and craft of Polish folk traditions with the symbolism I see in the landscape and stories of the American Southwest. I work with bold lines, sacred forms, and vibrant colors to explore connections between land, culture, and self. My art is where memory, spirit, and expression come together - an ongoing dialogue between the past and the present. Each piece I create comes from an intuitive place and allows each individual to derive their own meaning. Sharing what I do is intended to provide others the safety and opportunity to share and explore themselves.
