About the Artist
Madeline Graduated from Parsons School of Design in NYC with honors and continued further studies at the Decordova Museum School in Mass. with concentration on the human anatomy. She taught drawing and painting to children and adults for 32 years at the Hinsdale Center for the Arts in Hinsdale IL. and in the Chicagoland school system. She was Exhibition director at the HCA until she moved to Chicago in 2014 where she drew and painted portraits at the Cornelia Arts Building while participating in Open Studio events and sales at the Arts Building. Madeline moved to Tucson in 2021 where she exhibits at the Arthouse Centro Gallery and the Desert Artisans Gallery. She has a studio in the East Hive Building where she paints and shows her work.Phone: 7087722594

About The Event
I have been developing my style of painting for many years. I went to art school in NY City at Parsons School of Design, graduated with Honors and continued my art background by studying the human form at the DeCordova Museum in Massachusetts. I taught children and adults how to draw and paint at the Hinsdale Center for the Arts in Chicagoland where I had a studio and continued my own painting. I have been selling my work all through the years. My art experience is my lifetime. I have been working at this since I was a very young child. Most recently I have been able to paint with bright color and really make it sing. I am very happy with my current direction in painting.
