Al Glann Sculptor

Creative Medium: Painting, Sculpture

About the Artist

Al Glann • Sculpture Bio

I have done a wide range of sculpture through the years and am always finding new ways to express my art, as it never gets old for me. I am probably best known for my horses and birds of prey since after I started with them in 2009 and they sort of took over my life!
I received my BFA from Columbus College of Art & Design in Columbus, Ohio. After working in the commercial design field for seven years, I went back and taught at CCAD for 15 years and spent 15years at the Art Institute of Phoenix, all the while working on my own art. I quit teaching in 2010 and have been working full time on my own art.

For over 35 years have been creating sculpture and have exhibited in Ohio, Colorado, California, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Kentucky, Texas, and Arizona. In 2023 had a solo show at the Phippen Museum in Prescott, Arizona and also a solo show at the Museum of Western Art In Kerrville, TX in 2024. I have work in public and private collections throughout the United States, England, Netherlands, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and Italy.
