Day 2: Beth Giachetti Fine Art

Beth Giachetti Fine Art
She/Her
Creative Medium: Drawing, Painting

About the Artist

Beth is a representational oil painter. Her works include realistic animal portraits and landscapes, as well as still lifes and figurative pieces. Beth's art is quite realistic, with true interpretation of composition, color and atmosphere. Although some of her animal art is whimsical as well as realistic.

Recently Beth has begun creating more textural paintings using palette knives. She is also dabbling a bit in abstract and non-objective work.

Beth's animal paintings vary from very realistic to whimsical to pet portraits. Paintings of animals include: coyotes, roadrunners, coati mundi, Grand Canyon Ravens, and of course the popular pigs, cows, horses, roosters, mice, hummingbirds and many other types of animals and birds.
.
Beth regularly travels to northern Italy's Dolomite Mts. where she paints the gorgeous scenery en plein air. Southwest and West Coast scenes are also inspiration for her landscape paintings.

Beth shows her work at Toscana Gallery and SAAG (Southern AZ Art Guild Gallery) both in Tucson, Arizona.
