Public Art Collections Associate
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt; Full-Time
Salary Range: $22- $24 per hour, based on experience, with benefits
Job Reports To: Director of Public Art
Tucson Location: Offices located at 525 N. Bonita Avenue, Tucson, Arizona 85745. Onsite and remote work.
Job Summary
The Collections Associate will oversee and coordinate all aspects of the Arts Foundation’s maintenance, conservation, preservation, and public art roster programs for the City of Tucson Public Art Collection. The ideal candidate will have experience in collections management, project management, community organizing, and art. The candidate must have a fundamental understanding of artwork and building materials commonly used in public art. The candidate should also have a strong understanding of community engagement and facilitation techniques for project, panel, and public community meetings, including experience incorporating the perspectives of multiple communities and multiple artistic expressions in step with Arts Foundation’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
