NEW Houghton Road Project CTA open for 22nd to Irvington!

The City of Tucson is seeking an artist, artist(s) or an artist team to join a multi-talented group of roadway engineering planners/designers, landscape design architects, traffic engineers, drainage engineers, plus other engineers and technical specialists engaged in geological, materials, utilities, rights-of-way and environmental work to create public art in connection with this major project work. The improvements will create a 3.0 mile six-lane regional roadway with a lot of it along very hilly terrain, with ADA compliant concrete sidewalks, bicycle paths on each side, an asphalt multi-use path, storm drainage crossing improvements, traffic signal improvements, a new northbound bridge across the Pantano Wash, a pedestrian crossing feature at Secrist Middle School, dark skies street lighting, water harvesting and native plant landscaping.
