Are you interested in being a panelist for one of the Arts Foundation’s core grant programs (stART, Operating Support, and/or Artist Grant)? As a panelist, you will use guideline criteria to peer-review applications submitted for Arts Foundation grants. You will help consider which artists, projects, and organizations receive funding across Tucson and Southern Arizona. As a panelist, you will review 40 to 50 applications.
How it works:
- Arts Foundation staff select panelists whose experience and expertise match grant program needs.
- Panel reviewers complete their review independently, then meet virtually to discuss.
- Reviewers attend a brief online training session and receive materials and guidance on how to perform reviews.
- Applicants from outside the Tucson Metro Area including from Tribal Nations are highly encouraged to apply.
The Arts Foundation will accept applications expressing interest on a rolling basis. Once you apply, we will add your information to the pool. Selected panelists will be notified. You will automatically be added to future panelist opportunities.
