The Free Arts Professional Artist Series allows at risk youth to engage in workshops led by professional teaching artists and supported by volunteer mentors at our partner sites. Over the course of 4 or 6 weeks, youth participate in art experiences designed to foster collaboration and self-expression in a safe and supportive environment. The series concludes with a final performance and / or exhibit where participants celebrate their art and demonstrate their new skills to their families or peers and partner site staff.
