Meant to represent a whirlwind of open books, artist Simon Donovan worked with a plasma cutter to create individual books from steel plates.

Working with a plasma cutter and steel plates, artist Simon Donovan created a whirlwind of books encompassing the library. Although they appear to be randomly placed, Donovan chose the position of each book with intention, taking into consideration size, shape and color.
