South Fountain
With all the concrete and asphalt used in the surrounding construction, a water feature cooling tower was needed to provide the pedestrian traffic with a cooling aural experience that is also visual and tactile. The integration of metal, concrete, and ceramic tile that lines the interior of the underpass walkways added to the overall experience.
