Drawing inspiration from the bloom cycle of the agave, artist Susan Gamble of Santa Theresa Tile Works created four unique works to represent the varying stages of the plant's lifecycle. Working with steel and ceramics, Gamble depicts the silhouette of the agave in steel with variegated colored tile-work to simulate the Sonoran sunrise.
