About the Process
Doug Thompson, I have a complete shop of metalworking machinery for forging and fabricating, many of which I have build myself. I am a Tucson native and often use themes from the desert. I have a body of work that stands over 45 years, both private and public. Most recently I worked on a forged wine cellar door. For which I met with the client to get a sense of the design requirements and measured the doorway. Prefabrication and testing the door before painting and installing the piece.Explore Nearby Studios
