About the Artist

Judy A. ( DeVincentis) Morgan is a professional plein air artist. Nature is her primary focus & motivation for a painting. She first painted & exhibited her marine work in Newport, RI. Moving west, first to Durango, CO. Then to Tucson. She now paints in the Sonoran desert both in Arizona & in Mexico. She paints in watercolor & oils & has taught workshops in both mediums. She is represented by the San Francisco Street Gallery at 50 E. San Francisco St in Santa Fe, NM. In 1990 she appeared on Good Morning America painting the boats involved in the AROUND THE WORLD ALONE single handed race ( BOC). Some of the corporate collections owning Judy's paintings include the Bank of Colorado, Community Bank of the Rockies, & Silverpick Resort in Durango. Her watercolor painting of the Newport Yacht Club was chosen for the cover of the 125th Anniversary book of the Newport Yacht Club. Her paintings have been included in the Essential Guide to Santa Fe (2014), & Southwest Art (2015).
