About the Artist

My name is Julianna, I'm the herbalist and formulator who created Larrea Skincare. I've been working with plants for 20 years including fine gardening, floral design and farming, and the study of southwestern wildcrafted herbalism. My relationship with plants is at the heart of my creativity. I've been making herbal tinctures and skincare products for eight years, and six years ago I began professionally formulating botanical body care products full time. My father was a holistic doctor from Argentina and I have been using alternative medicines my whole life. After he passed away and I didn't have him as a medical support anymore I became interested in studying herbalism to better educate myself on how to care for myself and others with the plants that grow all around us. Larrea Skincare is an exploration of the art of self-care: the fundamental first step in caring for others and the world around us. Our artful products are made with pure, recognizable ingredients, powerful botanicals, and are designed to soothe and illuminate your body and spirit with the power of plants. We offer luxurious small-batch skincare, moisturizing artisan soaps, and ceramic soap dishes featuring botanical designs to store your soap in style.
