About the Artist
I am a Certified Painting With Fire instructor, offering classes and enamel supplies, and jewelry since 2014. I have been teaching at Blue Raven for several years. While living on a boat in Alaska, I enameled, constructed and sold my jewelry, during summers in Southeast Alaska and winters in Green Valley. My husband and our family are now full time in Southern Arizona.How to Purchase

About the Process
We use Map or propane gas canisters attached to a table and place an iron bead on a stainless mandrel. The bead is held in the flame until glowing, dipped in powdered glass (enamel) and placed in the flame to fuse the glass. This is repeated about 3 times then removed from the mandrel and allowed to cool. Each bead takes less than a minute. I offer classes in this technique.Explore Nearby Studios
