About the Artist

I am a surrealist and expressionistic painter whose work explores the boundaries between reality and imagination. I was born in Texas to a Dutch father and a mother from New York city. We traveled all over the world and the vibrant emersion into other cultures influences my vivid colors and symbolic imagery. I received my MFA from the University of Washington in Seattle and relocated to Tucson where the enviornment and surreal nature of the desert makes it's way into my paintings.
