About the Artist

I am an artist/ecologist/herbalist who is interested in observing and celebrating biological rhythms. I create new lunar calendar journals each year, as an offering for people to study the biorhythms in their own body and in the environment around them. They are based in Sonoran ecology, and each year the book has a new theme teaching on an ecological topic: ie paths, breath, and how the ocean affects the desert. Come by to learn about the theme for 2026!
I began creating these 6 years ago as an earth-honoring alternative to the Gregorian calendar, and coincidentally the first one began at the exact moment of the covid pandemic (not my intention). My hope is that by using these calendars, people can relate to time differently, spaciously, and in tune with the not-human world.

You can purchase lunar calendars for 2026 at the event, plus postcards of previous years' art. Please be prepared to pay using venmo, zelle, or paypal, cash, or credit card.
