‘The deafening buzz of the cicada becomes the soundtrack of the Sonoran Desert this time of year. They sing their song when the humidity is heavy and clouds grow in the distance. “I’ve always thought cicadas to be the harbingers of the storms,” said local artist and blacksmith Zach Lihatsh.’
