I am a Certified Painting With Fire instructor, offering classes and enamel supplies, and jewelry since 2014. I have been teaching at Blue Raven for several years. While living on a boat in Alaska, I enameled, constructed and sold my jewelry, during summers in Southeast Alaska and winters in Green Valley. We use Map or propane gas canisters attached to a table and place an iron bead on a stainless mandrel. The bead is held in the flame until glowing, dipped in powdered glass (enamel) and placed in the flame to fuse the glass. This is repeated about 3 times then removed from the mandrel and allowed to cool. Each bead takes less than a minute. I offer classes in this technique.Explorar estudios cercanos
