About Aswoon®/Susan Woods Studio-Jeff Britton Paintings
Susan Woods and Jeff Britton recently moved to Tucson from Brooklyn, NY. We have formed a studio which is open by appointment highlighting our collective work which includes painting, sculpture, drawing and design. Projects have been commissioned and sent to many parts of the world. Jeff is also a world class handler of art having traveled extensively for public and private collections.
Susan is a sculptor that creates both in the Fine Art and Design Arts fields. She works in a realist style as well as pursuing a universal language of symbols. Please visit her website for her CV.
Jeff is an American Realist and Expressionist painter who is going out into the desert to capture our gorgeous environment creating a kind of Barbizon School of the West. He will also be on the street recording Tucson’s vibe through small cityscapes. Commissions are welcome.

About the Process
Jeff and Susan share a studio. We are representing both of our work in this virtual tour. Our building features a generous open front area where we have sponsored Afternoon Jazz, an event that is the beginning of inviting guests in a safe environment to gracefully and safely experience culture, live. Our 5000 sq’ studio space is also a flow-through environment offering an-open-air-under-roof area where social distancing is easy and comfortable.
Jeff’s motto: “Get up and paint.” He pulls things from life and his imagination to record images on canvas with oil paint and brush.
Susan draws with metal and the 3D form as well as making pencil drawings. All forms of sculpture are interesting- from large installations to house-hold accessories.
