Jose “Buck” SANDOVAL

Born and raised in Southern Arizona, I have always used art as an extension of myself. Creating has been my way of expressing my thoughts and feelings when words are hard to come by. This has let me to experiment with many different mediums throughout the years. Currently, I work mostly in metal sculptures using recycled material. I enjoy this this way of working for the seemingly permanence of the material and the challenge in reframing an object to represent a feeling, thought, or a memory.
