My approach to public art centers elevating the voices of the clients; the committee and community members involved in the important work of finding artwork that speaks to the community. I love using my artistic and technical skills, experience, and perspective to help clients express their vision in three dimensions. I work in media that will last for generations, such as cast bronze and stainless steel. When possible, I also favor sculptures that promote community interaction. I love finding ways to integrate these essential ingredients into a sculptural expression that speaks to the human experience and resonates for a given time and place.

This humorous bronze sculpture is located at a park in the town of Sahuarita, AZ. The coyote is partaking in the popular Southwest activity of birdwatching. He has been looking for the for elusive road runner, which has managed to outwitted the coyote by hiding on his binoculars.

Celebration in Blue was commissioned by Oro Valley Audiology for Oro Valley’s One Percent for the Arts Program. Celebration in Blue is a memorial celebrating the joy of life and honoring those who have moved on.
