In Person – visual artist, actor and author – Sharon Wysocki – RocknW Art Studio

Sharon Wysocki will share some of her visual art pieces in “Cowboy and Indians” genre, made of vintage Old West toys from the 1940’s – 1960’s. exploring media images of colonized and indigenous folks from that time period often referred by artist as “not child’s play”.   Wysocki gained infamy in 1996 when her touring exhibition,”Banned Books as Art” was banned itself.

Sharon Wysocki will also open to answering questions about her novel-in-progress,”Lucky Horseshoe,” about love sparked in the making of Western on SEAZ’s legendary, Mescal Movie Set.  Wysocki is also a professional actor who has appeared in a few locally filmed Westerns.
