About the Artist
Originally from Phoenix and currently based in Tucson, Sinopya is an oil painter and digital illustrator who has a heavy focus on figure portraiture and realism. She draws inspiration from visual themes of the Southwest and the Baroque, and much of her work revolves around cowboy and western culture. Since graduating from the University of Arizona in 2023, she has collaborated on multiple public art projects, including "Celebrate SaludArte" and "Esta Tierra es Nuestra Tierra". She recently curated and participated in "Saddles & Boots: An Untraditional Look at Western Art", a group art exhibition hosted by &Gallery. She is also the winner of Tucson Lifestyle's 2024 Made in Tucson Awards in the Fine Arts category.How to Purchase
Visitors may purchase any originals I have available, as well as art prints and stickers. I accept cash, card, Zelle, and Venmo for any purchases.About this Event
My studio being open to the public includes access to see original pieces of mine that are for sale, as well as art prints and stickers I have for sale. I will also be actively working on paintings during these days, so visitors can get a look into my work space and my painting process. As my studio is located within the Monterey Court collective, visitors will also be able to visit the other studio spaces within the collective, and, if they stay late enough, enjoy the live music and bar/restaurant located within the Court.
