About the Artist

Vincent Potter is a Fine Jeweler and Printmaker based in Tucson Arizona. His main focus is on using traditional 18th and 19th century manufacturing techniques to create jewelry. He works in the Potter USA studio as one of the last people in the United States making die struck jewelry and carving new designs into steel to create new pieces of jewelry using ancient processes. He is well versed in the history of Victorian design and jewelry history which influence him heavily.

Visitors will receive a tour of one of 3 shops left in the United States manufacturing die struck jewelry using 19th century equipment and traditional methods, they will have the opportunity to see machines in action, receive a history of jewelry manufacturing and be able to buy finished pieces made using antique tools
