Free Arts for Abused Children of Arizona, a nonprofit organization that provides creative arts programs and mentorship opportunities to children who have experienced abuse, neglect, or homelessness (www.freeartsaz.org). Our programs aim to help children build self-esteem, resilience, and positive relationships through the power of art. We are excited to expand our programs into Pima County! We are seeking dedicated volunteer mentors and professional artists. We offer both short-term and long-term volunteer opportunities that can fit any schedule and can include both working with children or working in our office. Volunteering at Free Arts begins with a one-hour, no-obligation volunteer orientation to learn about the many ways you can get involved in our programs which connect children to opportunities that help to overcome trauma through artistic expression.
