Continuum (Exploring the Pyramid), Black Pool Number One, Black Pool Number Two

The sculpture deals with the mystery of civilization as it is embodied in the mute structures of past eras. Architectural components may be tied to history but may in fact be mute and reveal nothing. Thus, they relate to the mysterious in history, and thence to the mysterious in our own time. The architectural elements that are used are not specific but universal. The human mystery to which they allude is also universal.
