General John Campbell Greenway

In 1864 Congress provided that each of the states could present statues of its citizens who were worthy of national recognition to Washington, DC. The first casting was installed on the Capitol Rotunda in 1930. The second, and last, casting was donated to the Arizona Historical Society by Jack Greenway, son of the General, in memory of his father and mother.
