Into the Miles Community
This project, created with the integration of student ideas and images and completed with their help is rooted in the relationship of all living thing. Exploring the school's amazing garden and the neighborhood the final design honors history, nature, and the interests of the students and teachers.

Nina Borgia-Aberle, Into the Miles Community, 2008.
Fabricated from steel and tile, artist Nina Borgia-Aberle worked in collaboration with students and teachers in depicting flora and fauna themes on entryway makers. The final designs pay homage to the history and nature of the surrounding community.
