Special attention has been given to the art glass prepared to represent the natural landscape of the desert southwest. The Santa Cruz River is depicted as it is an important catalyst for settlement in Tucson. A photograph from 1918 of a policeman on horseback is also included as a homage to local history.

Working to create a realistic scene, artist Kathy Bradford worked in sand carving and etching to construct a series of glass panel artworks. Throughout the panels, Bradford depicts the local Sonoran landscape intertwined with snippets of local history.
